Can I bring a plus one?
We have carefully planned our weekend around celebrating only with our closest family and friends; thus, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
Are children allowed?
While we adore your little ones, children are only invited if they are part of the wedding ceremony or immediate family. If you’re planning to bring your children on the trip, we recommend arranging a babysitter for the evening. For peace of mind, we suggest using a reputable service such as Care.com.
Where is the wedding ceremony and reception?
Our celebration will take place at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute, Phase 2, located at 92-1101 Aliinui Dr, Kapolei, HI 96707. We will be celebrating in a beautiful outdoor garden setting overlooking the ocean.
What time should I arrive?
We kindly ask that you arrive no later than 4:10 PM. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please allow plenty of time to drive, park, grab a drink, and find your seat before the ceremony begins.
For those staying in Waikīkī, we recommend allowing at least one hour for the drive to Ko Olina.
Where should I stay?
We’ve created a list of recommended hotels by area on this page, and we also have discounted room blocks at The Twin Fin and The Laylow, both located in Waikīkī.
We recommend staying in the area where you plan to spend most of your time.
For the night of the wedding, June 13, you may want to consider staying in Ko Olina or Kapolei for a more convenient trip back to your hotel, especially since the celebration will end at 10 PM.
If you’re staying in Waikīkī for your entire trip, please keep in mind that the drive from the wedding venue will take approximately 35–45 minutes.
Wherever you choose to stay, our biggest priority is making sure everyone has a safe and easy trip back to their hotel after the celebration!
What kind of weather can I expect?
June in Oʻahu is typically warm, sunny, and breezy, with temperatures in the low to mid-80s during the day. At 4 PM, it may still be warm, but temperatures will gradually cool as the sun goes down, especially with the ocean breeze.
Can I take photos and videos of the wedding?
We have given our wonderful photographer and videographer instructions to tackle and violently destroy any device obstructing them from doing their jobs (lol).
Please keep your phones and cameras away during the ceremony so you can fully enjoy the moment with us and our wondeful photographer and videographer can work their magic. Don’t worry! — We will be sharing our official photos with you afterwards.
You are welcome to take as many photos and videos as you like after the ceremony and throughout the reception.
